This is my first “planet rock” photo! I heavily front and backlit the agate to create the blooming appearance on the edge. You can see it in the actual form my grandfather cut and polished it into elsewhere on our site. I also intentionally softened the focus (narrow depth of field) to create the “flowing” effect.
